Today we (Lilly, Oliver, Laine and I) filmed some new shots including some reshoots. After looking at 'Garden State' for inspiration we decided to re-shoot the 360 shot. In the new 360 shot we moved the camera around a lot faster than the original shot and when it reached back to its starting position Oliver would be standing there acting as the old mans relative. We then did a series of close up shots of Oliver getting dressed, for instance, putting on a tie and one of him pulling a jumper over his head.
The shots that we filmed today were successful however the 360 was a little jerky but we decided that we might be able to sort that using final cut pro when we got back to school.
We also did a tracking shot using a dolly of Oliver walking towards his shoes and slipping his feet into them. This shot I filmed myself and was very happy with how it turned out.
As a group we came up with all the ideas and were all mutually happy with how the shots went today.
